2022 Mayors Leadership Awards
Three mayors were presented the Mayors Leadership Award, and one Mayor received the Award of Merit during the closing banquet of the Oregon Mayors Association Summer Conference, held August 11-13 in Newport. Awards were provided to mayors representing small, medium, and large cities. The winning mayors are as follows:
- Small City category, the Mayors Leadership Award was presented to Carol MacInnes, the Mayor of Fossil and OMA Director;
- Medium City category, the Mayors Leadership Award was given to Cecilia Koontz, the Mayor of Monmouth;
- Large City category, the Mayors Leadership Award was presented to Keith Mays, the Mayor of Sherwood and OMA Past President; and
- Award of Merit was given to Scott Hill, the former Mayor of McMinnville.
